Our Art Department is widely submerged in all aspects of school life. Each year at Christmas the school windows are painted with festive decorations and students are offered the opportunity to design a christmas card for our school. The chosen design is printed and sold across the community. Last years design of ‘Santa with a Snow Globe' was by 5th Year student Keisha Mc Cann.

When the biannual musical takes place the art department is in charge of painting and set design. Students work very hard to create colorful and eye-catching sets which match the level of talent shown on stage by our performers.

Students have enjoyed many success in the credit union art competition over the years with many going on to represent our school at national level.

This year our TY programme has introduced the ‘Junk Kouture’ module where students create dresses and outfits out of reusable or waste materials. Our students have worked extremely hard creating unique and stand out pieces to submit. We wish them all the best in the upcoming competition.
