Congratulations to two past pupils from Our Lady’s Secondary School, Cian Mc Kenna and Kevin Yatagampitiya, on being awarded the prestigious UCD Entrance Scholars Awards. The UCD Entrance Scholars Awards are given to students who have achieved 560 points or more in their Leaving Certificate. This is a significant achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of these two outstanding past pupils. Kevin is currently studying Computer Science at UCD and Cian is studying Physiotherapy. Principal of Our Lady’s Mr. Kelly attended the ceremony in UCD O’ Reilly Hall on Thursday March 30th and congratulated both boys on their award ‘Cian and Kevin were part of the Leaving Certificate class of 2022 and we are proud to have played a role in their academic journey. It is always a joy to see our students excel and achieve their goals, and it is particularly satisfying to see them recognised for their academic achievements at such a prestigious institution as UCD. At our school, we believe that every student has the potential to succeed and we strive to provide them with the tools and support they need to achieve their goals. Cian and Kevin are wonderful examples of what can be achieved with hard work, dedication and a passion for learning. Everyone at Our Lady’s is incredibly proud of their achievements and we wish them continued success and happiness as they pursue their studies at third level.’’
