Our Lady’s Student Vadah Hughes Awarded €1,000 Acorn Life Scholarship
Our Lady’s Secondary School is proud to announce that Vadah Hughes from the Leaving Certificate class of 2023 has been awarded a prestigious €1,000 scholarship from Acorn Life. This scholarship will support Vadah as she moves to third level to study business-related subjects at Sligo Institute of Technology.
This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of Acorn Life, a company that understands the value of investing in education and the future of our youth. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to David Funcheon and Brendan McNally at Acorn Life for their support of this initiative. This partnership between our school and Acorn Life exemplifies the power of collaboration within our community and showcases what can be achieved when businesses and schools come together to support students from the local community.
Mr. Kelly Principal of Our Lady’s commented, "We are immensely proud of Vadah’s achievements at our school and it was great to see her receive the Acorn Life Business Scholarship. This scholarship is a wonderful example of how local businesses can contribute to the growth and development of our students. We are confident that Vadah's future is incredibly bright, and we look forward to witnessing her continued success."
