Our Lady’s Secondary School is pleased to announce that Adam McBride from the Leaving Certificate Class of 2023 has been awarded the prestigious Tax Institute of Ireland Scholarship. This distinctive scholarship not only recognizes Adam's academic excellence but also gives him the opportunity to enter the esteemed Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) programme after completing his degree.
The Tax Institute of Ireland Scholarship is an annual accolade that selects only one outstanding candidate each year. Adam's exemplary performance and dedication have set him apart, earning him a place on this exclusive programme. The scholarship supports Adam on his academic journey as he studies a Bachelor of Commerce and Accounting degree at the University of Galway and will ensure he receives invaluable mentoring and support from the Irish Tax Institute, further enhancing his professional development.
The award ceremony for this scholarship was held at O’Reilly Hall, University College Dublin, on November 29th. This event marked not only the celebration of Adam's accomplishments but also highlighted the commitment of Our Lady’s to fostering excellence and providing opportunities for its students to further develop their studies once they leave school.
