GAA
In Our Lady’s we are incredibly proud of our fine sporting traditions in Gaelic Games. We have enjoyed many successes over the years reaching 9 ladies ulster finals in the past 10 years including 5 senior A finals. Our most recent achievements in Ulster include our U 14.5 boys team becoming Lough an Luir Champions when they defeated St. Paul’s Bessbrook 2:08 - 0:03 on Feb 10th this year. In 2019 Our Lady’s claimed the schools first and only A Ulster title when our U14 girls defeated Loreto Cavan in Kingscourt. Our girls have also received over 20 Ulster College All Star awards in the last 10 years.
We have a staff of incredibly dedicated coaches who devote their time to the promotion of the game and offer our students many opportunities to progress and develop their skills. This includes training not only during school time but also Strength and Conditioning classes before school, weekend / holiday training, lunchtime league competitions, guest speakers, nutritional talks and challenge games.
Girls Football 2021 / 2022:
Coaches: Mr Graham, Mr Nolan, Ms Mc Enaney, Ms, Atkinson & Ms Ferrick
Our U19 and U16 girls competitions have finished up for the season after a comprehensive tournament both reaching A Ulster finals. Unfortunately our girls lost out this year to strong Lorretto Cavan teams in the peacelink in Clones. The girls are already looking to next year with preparations getting underway for the next season.
U14 girls A + B teams have been training hard in preparation for their upcoming opening games of the season and we wish them all the best.

It has been a competitive season for our boys teams with U14.5 winning the Lough an Luir final with the help of their coaches Mr. Bishop and Mr. Mc Menamin. U 16 boys reached the Ranafast semi final and were narrowly beaten by St. Macartans. Our senior boys added great excitement to our school community upon reaching the McLarnon Cup final. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be on the day and they lost out to the Patrician High School Carrickmacross in Inniskeen on February 12th Last. Our Boys should be commended for their efforts and dedication all year and many thanks to their coaches for their commitment to the team.
Training and preparations are underway for 3rd and 1st year boys competitions which are due to start in the coming weeks.
