Our Lady’s Secondary School is delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Aoibhe Clarke and Amy Ruddy from the Leaving Certificate class of 2025, both of whom have been awarded the highly prestigious DCU Academic Scholarship. These scholarships are presented to students who achieve over 600 points in their Leaving Certificate examinations, recognising exceptional academic achievement, dedication, and a commitment to excellence. Aoibhe, who is studying Global Business Canada at DCU, and Amy, who is studying Business at DCU, were honoured at the awards ceremony held on January 22nd at Dublin City University, where Principal Mr Kelly attended to congratulate the students on their remarkable achievements. Reflecting on their success, Mr Kelly commented, " We are extremely proud of Aoibhe & Amy on securing this prestigious scholarship, it is very deserving of their hard work and success in the Leaving Certificate, where both girls showed their undoubted ability as well as determination, and an admirable work ethic. I have every confidence that they will continue to excel as they embark on the next chapter of their educational journey."
